Our client, Crieff BID, needed a bespoke website to promote all the acts and venues, as well as an easily accessible method of booking tickets. With such a wide variety of comedians to choose from, it was important that visitors to the website found the process of buying tickets a simple one.
The drop-down menu layout enables visitors to explore listings by performer, date, venue and type of show. Each comedian’s profile also shows the performance and venue details and a link to buy tickets directly from third-party agent, Ticketline. We embraced the colour theme from the distinctively cheerful Crieff Comedy Festival branding, created by our design team, to ensure the website was visually linked to the event.
Crieff has a wide variety of options when it comes to eating, drinking and spending the night. As the host of Crieff Comedy Festival, Crieff BID hoped to encourage visitors to extend spend with local businesses. Places to stay and eat were promoted on the home page of the Crieff comedy festival website, via direct links to the listings on the Visit Crieff page, resulting in an 18% increase in new visitors to the page.
